Island
Group hires employees primarily by word of mouth,
and prefers individuals who have customer service
and computer experience. When a person starts
at Island Group, he or she will go through an
extensive training process.
New
hires will work with supervisory personnel until
they are deemed able to work alone as demonstrated
by our in-house auditing of new personnel. Everyone
works in close proximity, creating an atmosphere
where it is easy to ask questions. Trainees are
familiarized with the data processing keyboard
and given a trainee's handbook.
